I've noted that in several of the Cryptic missions myself. That is why I make all my observations recommendations. It is also why I note it as a personal preference. For me it seems to make the dialog flow smoother and can be used as an enhancement. I do agree there are places where "Continue" actually works as in reading log entries or reviewing the evidence in your mission. In the end the author is the one that has to be happy with what they wrote.
