Well bust my buttons! For the first time in days, I was actually able to get past the "retrieving maps list" message on the second attempt last night and get into the game! Lots of lag, lots of rubber banding but it was something. Played for about 25 minutes before I was disconnected from the server. Tried it again after that and once again on the second attempt, I was able to get into the game. Still a TON of lag and rubber banding. Connection lasted about an hour before booting me out. Just in case I didn't mention it before, connection problems I have been experiencing were regardless of whether I was using US/EU proxy or not.
