And you never fight just one drone. Close range combat with the Borg is suicidal no matter how you try to butter it up.
And that's not even starting on the whole "bringing a knife to a gunfight" thing - these Borg are armed with energy weapons of their own. Notice how many Klingons die in the first battle of DS9 before even one gets to swing his bat'leth? Being a melee specialist may look cool, but in a world where someone on the other side of the room can push a button and kill you instantly, it's foolhardy to trust your life to a blade.
while data is far stronger than most things in trek, Klingons aren't super strong. They might have an advantage due to them being a warrior society. That's like saying Spartans were all super strong. Theyre considerably more durable due to things like the brak'lul. If they were stronger than humans you wouldnt see worf get his but handed to him so much in TNG or Riker, Kirk, or Scotty letting them have it. You're also forgetting that not every done is the same, so not every drone will be fast enough or strong enough. Or capable of assimilation. That's stereotyping.
If you take off a Borg arm depending on the type of drone it IS possible to render it useless. At least on the lower drones. To make it more personal my character actually IS a super strong character so until the needed melee and revamped energy weapons I was tearing through Borg like they were nothing. Not so much after they overpowered them in elite STFs although I still can hold my own pretty good. Technically the Klingons would be least suitable for assimilation as they're mostly (not all) trained in hand to hand and melee weapons and don't really have a technology the Borg want or need.
