I don't want it because it's not what I'm looking for. I'm looking for a ship that can soak up hits, and dish them out in return. "Oh well, Tacs belong in escorts." Yeah well, f*** you buddy. I have been in an escort since level freaking one and I hate it. I'm more comfortable in a slow turning, enemy blasting behemoth. I can fly a Defiant proficiently.

Additional Information:
-I don't PvP often on my Federation character. I mostly do STFs with my fleet or you know, random groups.
Honestly I always figured what you give up in damage you gain back in not having to try to run and heal up or take the time to respawn. Yeah I know there are a ton of ppl that can be in escorts and never have to do this, which is great for you but I prefer to be able to take a pounding and not worry that the Npc is targeting me. I can park right infront of a tac cube in my dreadnaught and have my heavy cannons firing the whole time and not worry bout getting blown up while in my defiant I was always having to trade off shield facings and get out of range from constantly taking aggro.

My two favorite ships Fed side are the Dreadnaught and the Excelsior. I get tired of the hard turning I switch to the Excelsior with Dual beam banks and beam arrays, when i want to just park and blast the crap out of something I jump back in the G-X and take them down with 2 dual Heavy cannons.
