Yeah I wasn't as clear as I should have been but I was talking different builds, a survival build would not have EWP on it. And while I do agree with you that GW1 can be a better CC than EWP1, you need to pump power into Aux or pop a battery to get the most out of it. EWP just let it fly. I would argue no matter which one you used you'd DOFF it up.

As for Flight Deck Officers, depends on how good that Hanger is for DPS and what the recharge time is on it with max power to weapons.

It's a lot of theory and I don't have the time or money to test right now.
