Do you realize that to create a paper-thin dyson sphere (and any dyson sphere ever created would have to be much, much, much thicker than that), you'd need 1,879,906,673.5 square kilometers of material, weighing in at 1.4757267386975 x 10^16 kilograms.

Consider that the earth's total mass is 5.9742 10^24 kilograms, and think about how much pure material you'd need simply to create the structure of the sphere, not even taking into account the stress requirements (which steel could never hold up to).
