I feel the NX Class should be more useful

Finally, an ENT fan that is echoing a lot of my sentiments about the TOS Connie...
Relegating NX and Connie to "tier 1 only", which can be burnt through in
, and charging any amount of money ($5 for the ship alone, $20+ in a bundle) for it is, currently, a waste of good ships.
other season/era fan, TMP, TNG, DS9, VOY gets a
low-tier (TMP Connie-Refit in 2, Excelsior in 3, Galaxy/Intrepid/Defiant in 4)
"5+1", aka VA,
ship (Excelsior, Galaxy, Defiant and Intrepid retrofits).
Game logic is fail. D'Kyr as Tier 5 (RA), being just as "old" a design as NX, and older than Constitution, means that any ship can be brought up to "end game" spec. Even if NX stays an escort, and Connie gets "swapped" into the Science group in the "conversion" to end-game. Armitage is yet another slap in the "too old argument's" face, as the Armitage is a "new design intended to do what the Akira originally was meant to do, torp defended carrier. Why can't Starfleet's engineers re-design the Connie and NX hull? I was hoping for some old-school love in the new fleet ships, and again, everything but the tier 2 cruiser (because Connie-Refit from TMP is in there) and tier 1 gets representation, including a
Defiant, Intrepid and "plain" Galaxy.
I'd love to see the NX and Connie get into the "fleet module" system, where you still have to pay an additional $5 charge (fleet module) on top of owning the ship already. Heck, take the NX and Connie standalone ships out of the zen-store entirely, and disable the "4 module if you don't own it option", driving both bundle sales and module sales (also keeps it out of the hands of most "pure" F2Ps, as bundles can't be resold on the exchange like 4x fleet modules can, so it's either pony up for the bundle or grind weeks of dilithium).
Well, with the upgrade announcement leaving NX and Connie fans in the dust
, can we restart / revisit the T5 Connie and NX threads - since they will no longer be "truly" endgame ships... (after we get the T5 versions, it'll be time to see them added to the T5U upgrade charts too...
