Could it actually be that our concepts of "war" are messed up?

Every time I see a post about the "Fed/KDF war", I keep seeing talk of glorious battles, epic territory capture, etc.

All "hot war" activities...

However, outside of the initial Klingon storyarc (raid Fed base then rescue prisoners) and "PvP", all the activity in the game has a much more Cold war feel to it.

"Stealthy" holo-assisted infiltration of Klingon superweapon base. Destruction of Doomsday Machine early instead of gettting it pointed at Omega Leonis and letting it go to town, using har'pengh only when it threatened Regulus/Sirius. Ker'rat "skirmish" grounds.

Topped off with an epic amount of "only fools fight in a burning house" - and if the Borg/Undine/Iconians have their way, our little corner of the galaxy will be very burning and there will never be a resolution to Fed/KDF. That explains Omega Force and the teaming up against the Tholians in S7... (Tholian Harassment Squadron, anyone?)

Yeah, a mission/arc for each side (not cut-paste) clarifying the "cold war" status would be greatly appreciated...
Well, with the upgrade announcement leaving NX and Connie fans in the dust again, can we restart / revisit the T5 Connie and NX threads - since they will no longer be "truly" endgame ships... (after we get the T5 versions, it'll be time to see them added to the T5U upgrade charts too...
