Your point about people changing though is complete BS. (no offense but I have been a salesman for long enough to know people are people) Peoples motives never change people still buy things for the same reasons they did 50 years ago. Doesn't really matter if that 25 year old is buying a Hi Fi Stereo... a camaro... or an Iphone. The reasons they want those items and the reasons they keep or are unhappy with them... are the same. Not sure that was my original thought though anyway. lol I picked the retail example cause it seemed to fit to me... I could have told you I have heard LARGE suppliers behave the same way over multi million dollar deals more recently... I figured the retail example would be more relatable to most people. lol
