Each entry in your trace (the ones marked as 1, 2, and so on) is called a "hop". Think of it as a postal route and those are the stops along the way. The ones I've highlighted in yellow are your problem points. Also, in any hop where you see an asterisk, that's a partial timeout--which means a significant lag in response time.
