Personally, I wouldn't bother with the Ody pack and regret buying it.

You may be down one console in the Dread if you take the Jumper, but you are down three in the Ody. If you want to take a tactical approach, you need saucer sep (Cheveron Separation) and if you are going for dps you want the Aquarius escort. If you have two consoles used, might as well add the third for the full set bonus.

Stats wise, it looks superior to the Dread and any other cruiser (save Fleet Exploration) but it really isn't. For DPS, the Dread wins hands down. For tanking, they are evenly matched. Dread seems to absorb more damage wjere as the Ody relies on you knowing how to set it up for the mission in hand, and knowing which Boff skills to use and when to use them.

The vessel itself just doesn't do anything for me. Its a cruiser with no real redeeming features. It has two Universal Boff's but not much else worth mentioning.
Might as well add a little more Zen and buy the Vesta's. At least they look like fun and useful vessels (i've not bought them yet)
