It's a software issue. Wouldn't really expect them to just snap their fingers and be able to fix it. Probably having to rely on a third party to patch the issue...we all know how third parties like to take something on the order of forever to patch anything....
It's a lot like everything on the Enterprise-B: It's scheduled to arrive on Tuesday. Which Tuesday is the question.
