Frankly I'm getting to be pretty ashamed that I'm still in this circle jerk of a "debate" with you. We should both be pretty embarrassed of ourselves here. To outside observers, neither one of us comes out of this thread looking like anything more than a foaming jackass. If/when a mod gets around to this thread, I can easily see it locked or even deleted at this point.
You really should take an objective look at your behavior here, though. I know it's the Internet, and when you're anonymous you
act however you want... but that doesn't mean you should.
And if you really, genuinely believe your behavior is acceptable and mine wasn't, then... wow. The way your mind spins is frightening, and I'd rather cut myself loose from your unfortunate madness.
I was wondering how long it would take for you to figure out how silly the both of us looked. But I am glad it only took one more post.
Yes, I am against the addition of more escorts. I am also against the addition of more cruisers. We have waaaay too bloody many of both. I am also against the addition of more science ships, since again, we have plenty of those too.
You never asked what it was I wanted, so I just held my peace in that department, but this is more for lasionos benefit than yours. You say I want the game to stagnate, and don't want more ships? That's not true. I do want more ships, but not any of the classic 3 types we already have. I personally would want to see more hybrids in the game, more warship and destroyer class ships. Ships like the Chel'gret. So you wanted my alternate ideas for advancement? Put in more destroyers/Warships. More hybrids. They do a great job, and give you more versatility for any given situation.
It is said the best weapon is one that is never fired. I disagree. The best weapon is one you only have to fire... once.
