My build is as follows, I believe in sharing builds with other Cruiser guys to build up a fanbase for Cruisers and show Cryptic that NO, we DON'T want to fly Escorts.
I'm a Tactical
Fore Weapons: 2 x Fleet Phaser DHC's Mark XII Damage x 3, 1 x Phaser Quad Cannons,
1 x Mark XI Quantum Torpedo Acc x 2
Shields: M.A.C.O - Mark XII - Maco is arguably the best cruiser shield, even without the rest of the set.
Deflector: Borg Mark XI
Engines: Borg Mark XI - I use Borg for the Autonomous Regeneration because of the hull buff which works well in my build and stacks my resistance as we as healing me. A Cruiser should always take advantage of its high hull.
Rear Weapons: 3 x Fleet Phaser Turrets Mark XII Damage x 3,
1 x Purple Plasma Torpedo Mark XI Acc x 2
(Plasma for any escorts that like to get up my backside
- Slows them down nicely)
Engineering: AMS/Cloak (Depends on Situation)
2 x Nuetronium (My Bad XD) Mark XI Armour
, Tachyokinetic Coverter
Field Generator Mark XI
, Borg Assimilated Console
3 x Phaser Relay Mark XI
That's the Elysium, now for my boffs
Lt Tac: Torpedo High Yield 1, Cannon Rapid Fire 1 (Switch between Spread and Scatter depending on situation, Support cruiser and DPS) - Scatter is Awesome for Annoying Adds and Fighters, Also the Hyper Plasma a lot of Escorts spam.
Ens Tac: Tactical Team 1
Com Eng: EM to Weapons 1, Aux to Damp 1, RSP II, Aux to Structual III
Lt Com Eng: Engineering Team 1, EM to Shields II, EM to Shields III (EM to Shields III can be switched for Extend Shields if acting as support cruiser)
Lt Sci: Sci Team 1, HE II
