not only the duals issue, but beam boats tend to fan out multiple beams from the same spot at once and it's very messy looking like at starbase 24 when there's beams literally going everywhere.. a quick fix would be to only change the beams contact points on the enemy ship to only change after every four pulse shot. so it would just look like another charge is being sent through the beam rather than multiple beams touching the enemy ship simultaneously.
tabbing quickly between targets is almost like fire at will too I noticed..
