DEVS: Could you please do something about the Crystal Entity Fleet mission? Nerf this new thing called ramming. . It's seriously no fun for the rest of us who are playing. The entity dies in1-2 secs because of this! I'd like to be able to fire my phasers at least twice!
Bump, big time. This mission currently sucks for anyone who isn't an escort with ramming. Took my cruiser in there, waited 4 minutes for it to spawn, and when it did it was dead within seconds. I fired 2 phasers before it died. Got an engine battery as my reward.
Fix this! Make the Entity waaaaay tougher and don't base the reward on dps, cruisers and sci vessels never have a chance.
Maybe the Crystal entity should be fixed, but don't touch Ramming speed. It may be abused in the crystal entity, but to fix this, make the Crystal more resistant to ramming! (Its a hughe crystal... it should kill any ship-hull) but holy don't change ramming speed. Its such an awesome skill to blast away battleships which lost their shield.
Saw a T2 Escort do close to 800,000 points of damage on the Crystaline Entity.
The ability is being used to exploit farm a fleet encounter.
Don't make the life of currency sellers easy by giving them a fool proof way to farm gear and make money from it on the Exchange.
In principle the power is great, everybody loves Worf yelling "PREPARE FOR RAMMING SPEED!" in First Contact but something has to be done to tune it...increase the CD on it? Tone down the damage on it? 800k seems more than enough to kill any player or even NPC, overkill much?
