A bug that involved Romulan Liberated Borg captains and their skills once they chose an ally
I'm a Tac Captain in a Escort. I'm not a player who pours over every detail of available skills and the min max of everything. I just wing it and pick what "seems" ok to me.
I hear the gasps now.
But I have yet to enter into any combat, space or ground that I felt challenged in. I haven't bought one piece of equipment since I got my Escort. I just use drops and rewards. If I put up my BoFF's and their skills you'd probably say something like, "oh man you're gimped"....
So to all those who are fretting and worrying about the skill cap, and wringing your hands over every little point and where it should go...............Don't worry, be happy....The game is a cake walk no matter what you do. Pick what is fun and you wont go wrong.
It is supposed to kick up in the second half of Lt.C. I am Lt.C 4 and the fights are getting to early OB difficulty.
Agreed. My tac officer in a science ship was mopping up klinks and assorted foes in the early LTC grades. Now that I've made it to LTC 7 I'm facing foes that outclass me enough to kick my can. I've got to think of a new strategy since my old one isn't working on them.
Sure some things couldn't be done solo which was a pain but it was fun. It was hard.
Made you level up, or get friends to help- which is the point of an MMO. With the new system i've just torn through everything at a much lower level...easy opponent combined with no death penalty basically means that nothing can stop you most of the time.
The one hard encounter was one with lots of borg... actually got torn apart lots of times, made me use my bridge officer skills.
