You've survived this long, Jem'hadar. With the Founders long gone and a lack of ketracel-white, you wear down very quickly. Fortunately, a Federation vessel found you just in time. Federation scientists haven't been able to subdue the need for ketracel-white completely, but they've engineered a substitute that will do the trick for now.

It's your choice. Die alone, millions of light years away, abandoned by The Dominion, or try to conform to this new, Federation life?

There are no female Jem'Hadar. They are genetically engineered warriors that fight, or fought, for The Dominion.

Category - Ridged.

Skin Type - Access your color palette. Move your cursor to the top right corner. From here move to-

Row 6, palettes 3-10 counting from the right.
Any of these.

Overall Pattern - Spots 02. Come back here after you do the skin color and match it. 4 and a half out of 5 bars for effect. Mess around with it here. You're trying to make it look like more scaley skin.

Base Complexion
- Neck Scales.

Forehead Detail - Jem'Hadar.

Nose Detail - Jem'Hadar.

Tattoo/Scars - Whichever. Scars probably.

- Humanoid. I would stick to white corneas and blue/grey iris colors.

Ears - None.

Hairstyle - None.

Shininess - N/A.

Eyebrow - None.

Mouth Accessory - None or Spines Thin. This is where it's a little frustrating. There is no accurate spines/stubs facial accessory that properly mimics the Jem'Hadar ones. This is as close as you can get. You can either use them, or don't. The Head Attach Organic spines look a little better. Perhaps your spines diminished when you stopped being dependant on ketracel-white?

For the sake of this tutorial, the screenshot will include the mouth spines.

Felisdraconius mentioned there being additional, more Jem'Hadar friendly options for KDF.

Eye Attach - None, probably.

Head Attach Organic - Spines Dual. Tan/white/pale blue?

The nose: This is a tricky part. You might have to mess around with it a bit on your own before you come up with something decent. These were my settings:

Nose Bridge Depth: 1/5 bars.

Nostril Size: 4/5 bars.

Nostril Height: 0/5 bars.

Nose Length: 2/5 bars.

If it wasn't mentioned, I left it at 2 and a half out of 5 bars. (Midway)

Make the neck a little bulky. I did 4 and a half out of 5 bars.

Jem'hadar are genetically engineered warriors. If there ever was a runt of the litter, they are sure to perish early on.

Yes, I appreciate it. I may never make any of them, but the fact you are taking the time to make the guides, is fantastic. Well done - keep it up!

# 7 Slightly different take

I made up my own version of a Jem'Hadar, and then found this thread. Here is where mine is different:

Category: Smooth Nose - Ridged
I feel this is quite an important choice to get a more accurate nose. Also, set the Nose Length to 5.

Base Complexion: Tellarite 01
While this doesn't quite give scales, the face is much less smooth, and it gives pretty good nose detail. Neck Scales was my second choice.

Eye Colour: I went with a slightly red "white part" (don't know the official name). They are addicted to Ketracel White, after all.

Hairstyle: Top Knot, black
You do see this on some Jem'Hadar.

Head Attach Organic: Spines Dual
Their spines do go down the back of their heads.

Also, head scaling options:
Head Overall Size: 3
Head Overall Width: 5
Head Overall Height: 5
Head Overall Depth: 0
Neck Length: 0
Neck Bulk: 5

The rest is pretty much personal preference. The shape of the Jem'Hadar's heads and faces varied greatly.

If anyone is interested in knowing the rest of the details of this Jem'Hadar, reply to this thread or PM me.

I didn't find the Jem'Hadar posted here too convincing so I decided to try and make one myself. Here's what I've come up with. The options chosen for the head are in the screenshot. Other than that, increase cranium width and jaw width and reduce mouth protrusion and lip fullness.

(Note that the Jem'Hadar does not wear Jem'Hadar-style garb but my ship's standard duty uniform.)

Here are some random Jem'Hadar names from my name generator:

Edit: One more thing - I forgot to add the lower spikes. Jaime did and that part does look better.

That's what they use instead of a viewscreen. It's used by Jem'Hadar bridge crew only (while on the bridge).
