Well i thought id make this thread to warn you about scammers etc. Feel free to post your listed ppl here!

DaSpock@DaSpock is asking to join a fleet when he joins a fleet he cleans the fleet bank and leaves and does the same thing over. I have reported him as he took 449k credits from my fleets bank, the fleet bank was restricted to Fleet Admirals/Admirals in the fleet only so some how its bugged or hes doing something...

naming and shaming on these boards will just earn you a ban as it is against the rules. If you were scammed ingame by anyone, send in a GM ticket. If enough people do it, the offending player will be banned from the game.

As for the bank permission, it is curently bugged and is scheduled to be fixed in an upcoming patch.

Even if creating a "blacklist" thread was 1) mature, 2) NOT being a busybody and 3) NOT against Cryptic's ToS, it sure as hell shouldn't be done in Ten Forward.

Shoo.

You cant do that. The mods will bere shortly to protect them and you will likely get a ban, or at least points.
lol I love the community reaction too.

I dunno, Id have reservations about putting a GM ticket in if even the mods are protecting them.

No, the ban (probably a warning first, I'm sure) would be for violating the forum rules. As for justification, here's why.

You offered nothing to substantiate your accusation, and any information you could provide couldn't be verified. You might be acting with good intent, or you may be acting maliciously for whatever reason, but we (as players) have no way to verify the accuracy of your statements. Now, with the name you mentioned, I could indeed infer you're probably right....but I can't say for certain. (However, my inference is clouded by my own experiences and attitude and may or may not be correct.)

But, I also can't positively verify that you're being honest. You could be throwing this guy's name around to deflect the blame away from you. (Settle down...I'm not saying you are. But, then again, I don't positively know, right?) So, in this case, you just tarnished someone's reputation with other players, something they might not deserve.

The ONLY people that can verify your statements is the GM crew, and only after sufficient research. And, if they should happen to substantiate your claim, there is no way that we players will ever find out, as action taken on someone's account is privately held information and not releaseable. This is precisely why the ONLY way you should make your claim is via the established help channels, and why calling out someone on the forums is not permitted.

QFT.

Also, regarding your signature, the Hitchhiker's Guide reference...

If that's true, what does that make the Hitman game franchise's protagonist, Codename 47?

The quote is actually from one of the producers of one of the TV series when asked why the number 47 seems to crop up a lot in Star Trek. And as it's part of my forum name and (for another month) my current age, I figured I'd just steal it for my own selfish purposes.
