Ok , restrained myself as long as i could but today has just made me cringe at the sheer idiocy of the Kling PvP contingent

The simple reason Klings's cry for the nerf bat is they are god damn AWFUL at PvP. There is NO communication , no co-ordination , no healing , no 'utilty' skills.

They seem to simply cram for DPS and then scratch their heads while FI'ing straight back to the fight , wondering how their pure dps build was just destroyed when it worked oh so well on those NPC Cruiser's....

The skill choices they use are just bizarre at best with no eye towards teamwork or aiding an ally to survive.
Their tactical choices are even worse , full impulsing everywhere , mostly straight back to the 5 feds who just killed them moments ago. Attacking the tanked Cruiser rather then the squishy Escort VM'ing everyone.....

The list goes on.

That in essence is why they lose and cry for nerf , not that Feds are OP'd ( Had more than enough running for the cover of asteroids ) ,its that they work together , focusing on one target then moving on to the next while the Klingons will quite happily pick a target each and ignore the critically wounded ships which may be mere metres away from them , oblivious to the fact someone may need healing.

It's a sad rehash of this http://forums.startrekonline.com/sho...d.php?t=119791 . With little to no imagination the person copy and pasted , but didn't really read the post . Since KLINGONS REALLY DON'T HAVE ANY PVE ! Moron , couldn't get it right and thought he'd be funny. Fail .

This makes me laugh so hard. Your not in the team obviously. Everyone has their friends they group with and we all know the unspoken klingon tactics. Most of the time we don't care though as we are trying to make the daily.

It is kind of sickening how some Klingon players whine about feds sticking together, calling it the 'fedball.'

Well I dont call sticking together a fedball.

On the other hand 90% of the games I have played I have to race over to the feds spawn point only to be met with a group of 5 feds all surrounded by mines and have no intention of moving and inch together or otherwise, thats a fedball.

There are some teams and fleets out there that understand they dont have to cower in a corner together in fear of the mighty Klingons. In fact it is better for us that you do stay in one place so I would perfer you keep doing it and here is why.

1. We can align all of our ships for the attack, get in to postition and range.
2. We can easily identify your ships and classes to assign targets.
3. Its much easier for us as Pugs to group our ships and play as a team when you do this.
4. We can very easily attack from behind your usually pointed in 1 direction in some sort of formation.
5. We always know where you are.

A moving target is much harder to hit then a stationary one, something I am sure the more experience groups already know. On another note sending out a lone escort 20k away from the fedball is not really a very inviting target, we arnt biting. It is actually kind of funny to see this and to think that you find this a viable strategy, but its a step in the right direction.

So dont get me wrong I am not slamming the fedball in fact I love it hangout at the gate and wait for the end to come because it is coming.

I wasn't aware anyone was still calling for a "Fed Nerf".

What people want nerfed are skills common to both the Klingons and the Feds -- things like Viral Matrix, which simply aren't fun.
