I know there are 9 gazillion things more important than this, like "fixing" the Fed Sci officer/ship that VM'd me 3 times in a row (yep, with the supposed 'near immunity' I was supposed to have), or making sure Fed cruisers don't negate their turn rate by putting on all turrets...
....but why in THE heck don't we have the Bat'leth, the signature Klingon weapon, as a choice for personal weapons when we trade in our Marks of Honor?
A formal request from a Klingon who uses one in ground combat..and the best we have is merely 'uncommon'.
I'm surprised no one has posted here, but not too surprised because there are far more pressing issues. However, since this particular request could be done in less than 3 minutes, I do hope that the devs will take it seriously and do it. Maybe I'm just one of the few Klingons left that pvp on the ground as well as space, and find the Bat'leth extremely satisfying to kill Feds with...
I fought a fed team that had a batleth user the other day. He got the odd kill with it and i respect him for giving it a try, but forcefields alone completely prevented him from closing to melee range.
I support it being on the vendor, but it will always be a hard weapon to use in the medium to higher rank brackets.
I support this as well. Bat is the most spectacular weapon in game from the visual perspective. I sometimes use one if we are just mowing down the other team, the combos looks very cool and some players start running away from me when I am starting to chop them into sushi lol.
