I appriciete the effort put into to these but at present all the space parts are just a constant death match and respawn.

The Infected for example. Five players just can't survive against waves of borg sphere doing 600 dmg a time with their beams. I've ran in it multiple times and it's the same die and respawn events. Either Borg dps needs lowered or there needed to less waves of adds so the encounter doesn't require costant respawning.

The Cure. Much the same as above and players get swarmed again by sphere. The tact cube takes a while to dps down.

The Khitmoter Accords - Worse part of them at the beginning. Players just can't survive against wave upon wave of spheres. Two of them can destroy a ship with seconds. Again either less spawns or Borg damage needs to lowered. It's just not fun exploding for 5th time. The tactical cube just takes a while to burn down if the grp isn't high on damage ;/.

With the DP suggested by players as something they want to see then STF's need to work with the changes and with borg getting buffed in almost every patch it would make running STF's an exercise in patience and not something fun to do.

Just some random thoughts

They can. Sit behind the gateway, damage the gateway, fly away, wait for the pats to get behind the gate, let one player pull the last group, finish them off, redo it until one group is left, while attacking the last group, get back into attack range to the gateway, finish the last enemy, repeat.
That is the easiest way I can think off. It may take you a while this way, but is easy and absolutely doable without dying. If you feel more familiar with how much damage the borg do and how much you can handle, you might want to stay at the gate with your group instead of pulling the enemies one by one.

If you are dying in the first space part, there definitely is something wrong.
Second space part, focus fire and kill them in the order of assimilated klingon ships, probes, spheres, cube, tac cube. I can't remember the last time someone died there. The space boss, well, it happens that a escort pops because it got hit unlucky.

When you are in range of your first target, there is no need to fly any further. Stop your engines, finish your enemy, go on. You don't have to be in attack range of every single target in sight.
That, of course, isn't quite possible when dealing with the two transwarp gates. We had players dying there, myself included, but when we tried out Infected and The Cure for the first times, we died way more often than now; so that is something I expect to change. For Infected and The Cure, I think it is enough to have only one cruiser and you won't have to die once. For Khitomer Accord, that is different. I would not feel good if there wasn't a cruiser in both of the groups attacking the gateways.

We die on infected space alot, but frankly just because we're lazy.

If we were going to be serious about it it's quite easy to separate out the spawns and time them. Especially if you bring the right setup before hand

(2 Cruisers with extend, 2 escorts and a sci for example)

Cure again we didn't actually die on the second space part of cure, in fairness though we were using our fleets premade pvp team and everyone knew exactly what they were going to do before they did it.

1st part of Kitt, well we had a couple of deaths, but we juggled things about there and concentrated on one gate for destruction at a time splitting our forces up so while the left gate spawn took a little longer to kill the right one was downed fast and the gate was nuked hard every time it came available.

Now in fairness these were pre setup fleet/alliance runs and we were using vent.

But it is doable with a minimum of death if you use your noggin

To stay alive and beat the borg ships in infected first stage you just have to follow the rules for all space fights against borg ships:
  • patience , there is no way to do this fast if you want to defeat the borg-ships skillfull
  • the minimum distance to spheres and especially cubes is 5 km because of the tractor beam, high yield plasma torpedo

You have to split the group of borg-ships up between your team and allways stay at a distance of 6 to 9 km and move in wide circles around them, move slowly away from them if the come closer. Yes this will cost alot of time defeating them, but its almost better than to die alot. Let one or two borg-ships alive and move to the gate, when you're in range then kill the borg-ships and you can shoot the gate.

So the best advice to defeat borg-ships is .. stay away from them, keep distance, fire at the plasma torpedo if the cubes fire them.
