That's because a lot of people don't want something ridiculous like a flyable NX-class in the game. It doesn't fit the time period. You may as well add a flying sailboat, or a giant space unicorn that shoots rainbows for that matter. I also wonder what CBS would think about flyable NX or ENT-J class ships....

Now if Starfleet wanted to make a new ship *based* on the NX-class that would be a different story. Oh wait... Akira

congrads you sure earned it i would love to see more details like this to the game it might seem small but detail is what maded star trek.

Also, congrats to dstahl on becoming a dad!

Oh, thanks for the "I have walked the curved hallways of my crew deck on the way to MY ten-forward' :p I'm looking forward to the interiors and the UGCE the most, although new enemy, cap limit, and episodic content sound great as well.

Honestly, I'd like to see more attention to ship interiors, obviously there are other areas that are also in serious need of attention, but I dont "feel" like I have my own ship... I get onto a lousy bridge (that often seem disproportional to the size of the ship like the "Nomad" bridge) that has zero functionality. No Waiting Room, No personal quarters, No engineering, No astrometrics, No holodeck no turbolift no jefferies tubes. I want to see A LOT more ship based content. Missions that require thwarting some weird extradimensional alien incursion. This is COMPLETELY do able! Seriously, on a Trek episode, in addition to the planet and space missions there were things that were going on ON the ship! Like one mission, you pick an ambassador and have to transport him to the Sierra Outpost, when you beam up to your ship, you should be beaming up WITH the ambassador and walking off the transporter pad with him.

Additionally, when I come up to a window, I should see the environment around me including other player ships, NPC ships and anything else that is in the area (this should also be seen on my main view screen). What's with the static displays of different ship classes on my bridge? Com'n guys!

*Sigh*
