# 1 Petition: Vesta class
06-17-2010, 01:57 PM
Since these petitions appear to be so popular these days i figure is start one for the Vesta class.

an early development showing the untextured design:

and the finished ship:

so is anyone up for the Vesta class?

Stop asking for more stuff and let them fix/finish what's in game already.

Someday people will understand that designing a 3D model is much easier than coding content and in fact done by different staff members...and its not like he asked this to be done tomorrow.

No, but there's a ton of things (oh, say the Klingon side of things) that can be done rather than adding even more to the already lopsided federation side.

To be fair, Adrasil could simply be referring to the many threads citing art problems with the details of the ships already in-game. Which the art team, including Logan, are very responsive to. But do say will take them time to get around to dealing with in-full.

I cite the Galaxy class ship and how many retouches it's already received.

I could be wrong about Adrasil's post. But it is something to consider.

Well that too.

It seems people want the developers to keep putting more code in without going back to fix the code already there.

Its nice looking and all, but to be honest i'm tired of these really long, smooth, speedboat-looking ships. I prefer the classic Saucer on a neck to a secondary hull with pylons.

I know its been done but I think theres a lot more that could be done with it, and it seems like 80% of the ships in the game dont follow that standard, which is my favorite.
