# 1 Devs! Photonic Fleet Pets
09-02-2010, 07:12 AM
Would it be possible to add your photonic fleet shield and health bars onto your Hud Screen when they are activated?

3 ships come out but you have to click on them to see their health. They should be treated as pets for the short duration and their health information should be seen on the hud viewscreen for quick access of information.

A good ships engineer should be able to give me something where I would know if they are still active and what their condition is.

You can use the "Select next ally" command to cycle through them.

I have it mapped to a button on my G15 controller, so I don't remember the default, but it's in key mappings.

Like many things, it would be nice, but I can't see how it's worth the dev time (and the near certainty of screwing up something else in the process) to alter the UI for the convenience of one skill, when so many other things already in the game are totally broken.

F2, F3, etc don't work to select bridge officer pets, by the way, even though their vitals are visible...

Depends, if they extended it to drone/escorts and gave us limited control options along with it then it'll be very welcome.

No more drones/escorts running off and aggroing multiple groups in STFs please ;;

I set my interface to always display health bars over all allies and enemies.

I presume that this would work for your own holographic ships, too.

Check in the options screen.

I want them on my space hud just as your beam down crew is on your ground hud on the ground missions.

Ah, now I understand.

Hmm...some redesign to the HUD would be required, as those are the spaces that other players occupy when grouped.
