Ok, so you know when you're in a team in game, the target UI around your teammates becomes the same colour as the chat. Well, personally I find this really useful in identifying who's who! But my idea is to bring it into the gameplay more, so that we can recognise other players that we know at a glance. The primary ones would be for fleet and friends, they both have their own colours already, and I'm sure it can't be that mammoth a task to implement something like this (though for the amount I know about coding games, it could well be a mammoth task!)

But overall, it would make it much easier to identify who was in your fleet, and therefore greet them in-game, or to pick out your friends from amongst the masses.

So, do people reckon this would be something worth adding into the game?
