Hello fleet officers!

I am a mature, friendly player who has been here during beta and decided wait a bit and let the game grow to prevent me burning out on it. I think the time has come to re-ignite the warp drives and boldly go where probably most of you have gone already! ;-)

Anyway I would like to join a fleet and experience all STO has to offer with fleetmates. I have a broad interest in about everything the game has to offer; be it crafting, missioning or pvp. I want to experience it all eventually.
I will not shy away from some roleplaying, but as I am new to that aspect I might need to learn a few tricks still.
I am looking for a mature fleet, where people understand that real life has priority and might mean you will be offline for a specific time. Where camaderie and helping eachother is high on the list and above all where having a good time instead of having top performance is valued.

I am based in the GMT+1 timezone, but my playing times vary quite a bit due to my iregular work schedule.
Consider me new to all things STO as far as experience goes, eventhough my account has been active since launch.

One tiny thing to note; real life takes precedence. I am not looking for a hardcore fleet with set dates and appointments its members need to attend.

Hello fellow beta tester

Glad to hear you're coming back into STO, probably a good time to do it while the game is experiencing an upswing.

Sounds like {UFP} is worth considering, as we like to offer a range of events and activities to appeal to a broad palette of interests.

Again I think {UFP} is a good fit in this case. We've been in operation almost 9 years (supporting Star Trek PC games), and in that time we've learned that allowing our members flexibility with their time and commitments is not only preferable but essential.
All we ask for continued membership is for a monthly roll call sign in. If at any time you think you're going to be away for an extended period of time, a leave of absence can be signed and your membership held secure.
We have members with jobs, school/university, families and all the rest of it, and we understand that has to be the priority.
Skill in-game is not of concern, we simply want to make sure everyone is having a good time together - that's really all that matters at the end of the day.

As an international fleet, we have members from North America, Europe, right across to Australia and New Zealand. In all likelihood, most of the time you'll be able to find others to talk and/or game with.
As for your experience, no worries at all. We recruit new members, as well as returning members. Our community is a very open one, and our forums are also a great resource for information or for asking questions. We've worked hard on continuing to develop the community, not just gaming aspect of {UFP}.

I think I covered this already, but in case you have any further questions or concerns on this score, feel free to shoot me a PM; or indeed on any subject.

Psi Aquarri Fleet is Recruiting Now!

Backstory:

Gladius 500 was abandoned after multiple Micro-Ultritium Bombs were placed around the Star base's Generator and set off, effectively leaving the station dead in space and just as dark. Many were injured, and unfortunately a few causalities as well.

But now, now, we have regrouped, forged and pounded from the fires of the old station, to this new station, one that will cool our blades, we shall come back stronger, this only preparing us for the next fight that comes ahead.

Within the Psi Aquarri Star Cluster, a new base set deep within a cold blue nebula had finished being constructed, nicknamed the "Anglerfish". It was a project for the Starfleet Corps of Engineers to build within the nebula, but it was worth it, for the station has a naturally occurring early-detection system due to the nebula's unique property, as well as no known cloaking or external holographic ability works within the confides of the nebula.

A quick list of what we have to offer:

* TeamSpeak Server With 512 Capacity
* Active members
* Fleet Forum
* Fleet Bank By Rank && W/ Crafting
* STF's, PvP, PvE
* Weekly podcast
* Departmental Positions
* Friendly && Laid Back People
* Structure, But Not So Much That You Can't Enjoy The Game
* Leveling
* Builds
* Joking Around
* Good laughs
* A Radio Station For Your Leisure
* . . . and instead of Cookies or Brownies, We Aim To Please... So Grab A Bite of Whatever You Wish to eat or drink, and enjoy the show

Membership Requirements:

* Teamspeak (Even if you do not have a mic, there is chatting in the server itself, it helps to be on the server especially when doing STF's, PvP, Missions and that sort of thing.
* Activity (We require you login to your main and alt on a bi-weekly, or every other week basis. This allows us to eliminate dead weight)
* Fleet Forum (Please utilize the fleet forums as a method of communications, as well as in game mail and fleet chat)
* Fleet Channels (We have a list of Fleet Channels your required to have, you will be invited in game, and walked through how to add them)
* Fleet Events (Its all about Teamwork, when we have a fleet event, like a joint fleet event, or an alliance social event, your required to be there to represent our fleet)
* 18+ (We Require You to be 18+ as this is a mature adult community, however certain exceptions will be approved by fleet admirals)
* To Have Fun! (What point would it be to have you in a fleet if you were not able to enjoy yourself, and have fun??)

We are allied with some of the best in Starfleet. We are Allied with Gods of War, and are friendly with 12th Fleet. We are also friendly to 23rd Fleet, one of the oldest fleets in Starfleet.

We buy are players any equipment they need, we offer training to all of our members (our academy is run by experienced gamers who have MMO experience and have real life tactical experience and also role play experience) We are casual, knowledgeable, dedicated, very friendly, willing to lend a hand and assist the player in any way possible and we have skilled players that participate in pve and pvp. Shadow Dragon Fleet is also allied with other powerful fleets. opportunities are given to those who work hard. We also have higher positions available so there is plenty of room for advancement

Check us out at Shadow Dragon. We are not a big fleet so you won't get lost among the members and it will allow you to have more influence on the fleet. We try to make the game more communal, support individual goals, and provide a well rounded experience. I've been on for a year and waited to join a fleet too so I can relate to having experience but minimal fleet experience.

Attn New Recruit!

Your wanted to join the ranks, and share in all the glory that is Armada Defense Force.

Visit us at the site listed in my signature, and fill out an app or contact one of us in game. We can help you out. (Couple notes though, we are an all adult fleet, 18+, and we like to be laid back and easy going.)

There are times when we RP, but not too much recently. We attempt to run daily STFs, and always assist others in the fleet when needed. We are almost like a family... But more dysfunctional.

Thanks for your time!

R. Adm. Morphinus, SF Division.
