# 1 Map Scale
04-05-2011, 06:06 PM
Is anyone having an issue with the scale of ground maps? Let me give you an example: If I have 2 100 meter long wall segments on the same x, z coordinates if I off set one wall 100 meters to butt up to the other segment it jumps across the map. 30 meters actually puts the 2 segments end to end.

What is up with that?

100 ft. is roughly 30 m.

You're actually dealing with a 100 ft wall not a 100 m. wall. The map is in meters and the objects are in feet (or so I'm guessing from my own experience).

This is correct. Ground map coordinates are in meters. All the objects are in feet. You have to do the math to place them correctly. It is presently a major pain.

Space maps use a different scale. You need to divide by 50 there instead.
