The Delta Flyer is probably one of the best (if not _the_) shuttle options in the game. Okay, you're laughing now, why would anyone care about shuttles, they are useless except for one mission.

Well, that's true. But I like the occasional Shuttle Wars match. And the Delta Flyer is basically anyone's default choice. (Though it might be will see a rise in popularity for Fighters? We'll see.)

The main advantage of the Delta Flyer is that it gets 2 "real" Bridge Officer slots. Other shuttles like the Runabout, the Yacht or the Chariot merely get an innate Ensign Ability plus one BO slot. The innate Ensign ability cannot be trained, so the Delta Flyer will always have better cooldowns than the other ships, and that can make a big difference in a short-lived vessel like a Shuttle.

I think it's okay if the Shuttles have different power levels, but it's not okay if the best option is only available to one faction.

Exactly one mission (the Vault), and only after we reached Captain?

I tend to agree with you in principle, but before debating car types,
actually having streets would be awfully nice.

Weird analogy, but appropriate.

honestly? this is the type of distraction that takes away from the real issues faceing the Klingons, ultimately the Klingons DON'T need more ship skins and delta flyers, don't get me wrong they're nice to have but not NEEDED, what Klingons need the most of right now is content, not new shuttlecraft, not skins for ships we already have, not even new clothing options, but CONTENT, things like a delta flyer can be left to refinement once the KDF is in that positon. asking for one now is putting the cart before the horse

Shuttle Wars, as I mentioned. :p

It doesn't really matter with all the content problems of the KDF, you might say. ANd I wouldn't disagree. But we already talked about the other stuff, so I thought I point out another way the KDF needs to be improved.

Yup.

Also the people who make missions are not the ones who make ships.
So we can point out what we feel what needs to be pointed out.
Cryptic can only decided to do something about issunes that either they or we can realize are there and the assign the right people for the right job.

Supported.
On the Fed side, the Delta is definately a very powerful ship for a few specific tasks.

Not only would I like one on the Klingon side, I encourage the 'ship' devs to add one ingame using an existing skin if it makes it easier. Launching this new class from a Negh'Var would be win/win from my perspective.
If I maybe so bold, a cloak would be better than gold pressed Latinum.

Until we get more small craft content I don't see a point in having more small craft.
