OK, So I've been playing since Open Beta, and I pretty much thought I knew everything (Or nearly such) about this game. Last weekend, however, I was playing some PvP in a fleet event, and one of the other players had a ship that was disguised as a Undine Nicor Cruiser in one battle, and as that living ship you have to escort in one of the early Fluidic space mission in another battle. Is this an ability, or is it a piece of equipment I can pick up or buy somewhere? Thank you.

Holo emitter you can buy with your dabo winnings. I saw the flicker a few times during the match.

Oh, Well that explains that part. Where specifically can it be bought, and how much do the run?

In DS9 see the vender on the left behind the bar. (As you are standing with your back to the dabo table)

Drozana Station see the Ferengi behind the Dabo table.

You can find them either at Drozana Station or Deep Space 9 (DS9 is Fed only, while Drozana is open to both factions). The latinum vendors are located in the same room as the Dabo tables; the Ferengi one at Drozana is located against the far wall, to the left of the bar, while the vendor at DS9 (Woodie?) is located behind the bar.

Holo emitters vary in price: the cheapest is @ 20,000 latinum, while the most expensive is @ 100K+. You can also purchase floor/wall latinum trophies for your trophy wall in your ready room and mess hall that run about the same price range.

Don't forget those holoemitters cost a device slot and last only 15minutes. Then they are gone.
