Been playing around with the duty officer system a lot these past few days. Probably the single best update since launch; very closely followed by that FE "what lies beneath". The reason is simple like the title of the thread, the system makes you feel more like a captain or chief of a department.

There are a few issues to be worked out, such as balancing of the xp progression for both the captain and duty officers; twins/tripet doffs, etc. But it has me really looking out for the first officer system now.

I would like to see much more variety with the actual doffs though seeing numerious doffs with Founder of the federation, diplomatic and teamwork makes it look like there is a lot less variety than it actually does.

Anyhow, devs and whomever it concerns, keep up the good work.

They have those traits because they are all human. Now, why are they all human? I hope that changes before the re-launch.

I too am enjoying the DOff system.

Bought 3 KDF DOff Booster packs out of the Cstore yesterday and was greatly pleased at the variety furnished. Did two missions, one short, one 20hours long and loved it all.
