Hi,

I'm returning to the game after about 2 weeks after release. I have a few characters but want to start a new one from level 1 so I can get refreshed on controls and some other stuff. Which would you folks suggest I start with, a tactical or science character? Thanks!

If you want something simple and straight forward for relearning everything Tactical is nice for that. On the ground you shoot things until they stop moving, and in space it makes you do more damage. For ships, a cruiser a nice for simple and straight forward. Great survivability so it's forgiving on mistakes. and tactica buffs means you can a heck of a lot of damage. Not quite as much as an Escort can do, then again, you won't block up is a Battle Cruiser sneezes on you.
