Well, after a few weeks of not liking the way my Fed crews look in their armor, and having experienced the joys of my Klingon crew's armor/kit not showing, i learned from my nephew that you can "disable visuals" for armor and kits on Fed players/BOffs...

... but he told me it only hides it to you, and other players will still see your armor and kit. Is this true? I of course cannot see myself through the eyes of others, but i'm hoping my nephew is mistaken and others will see my toons the way i see them.

The only threads i saw said you can disable the visuals, but they did not mention whether or not it affects what other players see. I thought i'd ask in here since it is really just an issue for Fed equipment.

It hides it not only for you but all.
