A few days ago I was having a MAJOR issue with STO. When I opened up the launcher it would just sit on a white screen for 20 minutes then pop out an error "jquery not recognized". something like that. Well it took me an entire day of banging my head on the desk but finally I was able to fix the problem with help from a friend.

What I had to do:
open my Internet explorer -> click on the cog wheel -> go to "Internet Options" -> Then "Delete temporary files, history, cookies..." under the "Browser history" heading.

After I had done that my game ran, and has run since then extreamly smooth with not even the slightest bt of lag, of course with the exception of todays server crash.

Also, I had Java 6 installed on my computer, my friend told me to uninstall it and install Java 7. Another thing that fixed a couple issues I was having in game and with my computer.
