I was on my Bridge and attempted to beam out to tactical view and I get an error saying Couldn't Transfer Character Could someone transfer my character back to sector space.

I have been moved back to sector space.
If someone moved me Thanks and if not well thanks for all your hard work.

I'm having the same problem right now. Rator III won't let me beam back to my ship for some reason. PvP queues don't let me out either and so far I've yet to hear from a GM.

Same problem - sitting in the middle of Psi Velorum space unable to do anything at all. Any zone, battle, transwarp or instance change and it boots me to the login menu with the 'Couldn't transfer Character' message. My Alt is unaffected, and playing on the same server.

I've logged four GM tickets, some of them now outstanding for hours without any response whatsoever. This game has the most appalling GM support I have ever experienced. I have never played an MMO where GM petitioning wasn't live. Although I'm loath to mention it, even in WoW I never had to wait for more than 20 mins.

I'm a lifetime subscriber and I've put up with all the woes so far but I work 100 hours a week and have spent 120 hours on this toon - if the problem is not resolved (ie, if I lose this toon) I will be recovering all of my subscription and cancelling my account.

Beyond unimpressed.

Tickets can take up to 24hrs to respond to depending on the GM que. You submitted your first GM ticket less than 24hrs, but I will see where you are in the que. Submitting multiple tickets does not help get your issue addressed sooner.

Edit: Your ticket should be addressed soon.

thank you.

btw, It would be helpful to have that message come up in game when submitting a request... not 'a GM will contact you soon'.

soon tends to make one think soon.

edit: missed the 'k' in thank.

ok, so an update here...

STILL cannot do anything on the character.

No response in e-mail, or game e-mail... and well, that just isn't cool. For something on your server's end... it really is a crap shoot to not have access to your character.

This Problem Is A Nuisance. 3 Days I Have Been Stuck In The Sol System. One Week For My Fleetmate Jonah. Other People Have Been Waiting To Have This Resolved As Well. I Am Going To Continue Being Patient. But I Will Wait To Speak To Someone Live. I Am Requesting Jonah Be Compensated For The Week He Has Not Been Able To Play And I Be Compensated For The 3 Days Now Going On 4 I Have Not Been Able To Play. Either That Or An Accolade Like "delta Quadrant Explorer" Should Be Given To All Of Us Who Endured This With Understanding. It Is Only Fair. Please Fix This. A Players Patience Is Like A Steel Bar. It Can Be Tough.... But With Enough Pressure Applied Over The Right Amount Of Time It Will Eventually Bend. And After Bending So Much You Will Eventually Be Left With A Broken Player.

# 9 "Couldn't Transfer Character"

I keep this message each time I try to go into Fluidic Space on the mission Fluid Dynamics. Digging around and could not find anyone else having the issue...or people are addressing the problem differently than I am looking.

Though I gave up and skipped it as I don't know if it is really a major bug or I am just cursed?. Yet mission out on that bit of story is a bit depressing as I've worked out greatly long all the stories not skipping one but that one.

Though out of all of the game. This is the first Major bug that I ran across. Yet the annoying Lock boxes are another matter...they are as bad as Tribbles...or maybe they are Tribbles.

I have gotten a similar bug on a recent new character I made. Just started him today and was going to do the Stranded in Space mission.

Went to rescue the SS Azura and as I approached the area to start the mission, I got a Couldn't transfer character error message.
