I love the ship, i think its very sexy. but the way i play, i have to have everything match. like wen i have the dreadnaught, i have the justice bridge. wen i have the promy, then i have the promy bridge. but with this new Cat carrier u cant have just any old fed interior. it wouldnt make sense. so im thinking, maby since we had to pay alot for it, how bout a sexy interior to match

That's the exact reason why I'm not buying it as much as I want to. It should have been released at all or at the very least at 2000cp without having a bridge that compliments the pure artistry of JamJamz design.
Of course now that they've released it and people have bought it up like it was the last drop of water on Earth they'll never bother because they already got their monies worth out of it from everyone else.
I keep seeing people complaining about the price tag. You all do realize that $25 is the standard price for a cash store mount in WoW, right? Last I checked, WoW is still a pay to play, and no one is complaining about the price over there. This is a free game that uses a cash store to make ends meet.
Bottom line: at $25, the C-store ships are a great value.

When STO is as well developed as WOW, I'll stop complaining

You can't expect STO to be as developed as WoW. It's just unrealistic. For one thing, WoW is nearly 8 years old. An incredible amount of polish has been added to the game since launch. If SWTOR's player base is barely a blip on the Blizz radar, you think STO's player base is large enough to make such a thing feasible?
I don't understand where the entitlement comes from in a free-to-play game. What are people contributing to the game if not for C-store purchases?
A cash shop mount in WoW costs $25. It does nothing special gameplay-wise. A C-store ship is unique in both art and functionality, yet costs the same amount.

apples and oranges. Ones just a mount, so its easy to dismiss, the thing wont change your gameplay in the least as its a vanity item.
The carrier offers a different play style that was not originally included on the Federation side, so i can see why some people bawk at the price tag.
is it worth the price? meh, only the person buying it can answer that. I played with it for a while and went back to my Kar'fi.
But I do agree, when you have ships like this that are not made by the federation/kdf you need to spend some time making the bridge at least.
There really should be a carrier bridge regardless of if its included with the ship or not.
Consider what a bridge layout for a cruiser, escort, or science ship is mostly based around.
Internal ship controls, monitoring external things (sensors etc), and thats mostly it.
Now consider a carrier.
Not only would there need to be internal controls and external monitoring, you would also need specific stations/screens/displays/etc for all your deployed crafts.
Aircraft carriers in reality have entire air traffic control services and then some build into them. A standard cruiser bridge (or any other existing bridge) doesn't really facilitate this.
What I would want from a carrier bridge?
1-2 large table or vertical displays that look as though they are used for tracking deployable crafts. Ideally one is used by onboard operations, while the other is used to organize operations of missions already in action.
These sorts of things exist on current carriers in the real world already, it would make sense for these to exist here aswell.
A large multiple display setup. It would make sense for future carriers to be able to get live/nearly live feeds from all of there deployed craft. This should ideally be worked into the same area as one of the tables (the one dealing with already launched craft/air traffic control).
I would also like to be able to station BoFF's at some of these stations (yes more BoFF station options). This would have an extra benefit of further enticing players to purchase more BoFF slots so they can have more BoFFs at more station (yes I am temping you with money!).
Right now the inside of an Atrox basically looks like a Galaxy/intrepid/similar. It doesn't really have any interior features where you feel like you are in a carrier.

Why would people balk at the price of an item that offers a new playstyle? I mentioned that WoW is a subscription based game, cash store mounts are $25, and they do not change playstyle in anyway.
STO is a free to play game, cash store ships are $25 MAX, and they offer a unique playstyle from existing vessels in the game. I really don't see any reason to raise a fuss over the price point of the ship.
