I know some klingon ships have the ability to teleport themselvess (through subspace jumper console correct?) . I was on Ke'rrat little while ago and encountered where my fed cruiser was teleported to a position in front of the klingon ship. I am fairly certain I am not confusing the ss jumper console skill as this happened a few times (with the same person) and it was obvious that my ship's position had changed.
I haven't been playing so long and I have been on Ke'rrat enough to have thought I would have encountered this, but maybe not.
Is this a new ability or just an older one I have not encountered yet?
Sounds like the subspace snare console that comes on the BortaSqu.
Yep, it's a biatch, isn't it.?
Drops ya 4 out in front of them, perfect range for that BFG auto cannon that comes on a different variant of the BortaSqu.
Honestly the dropping in front of a ship isnt that much if the biatch...in that aspect is it really any different than the kling ship teleporting 3km to my aft? No
What is a biatch is when you break out and fight yourself out of a klingon nest of ships and it teleports your whole ship back in the middle of it. Sucks when a whole group can just hang behind one ship and let it teleport the enemy right back into everyone weapons range. As if a whole side doesn't even have to make an effort to pursue
Now granted I havent been playing as long as many, but honestly with abilities like this I find it hard to grapple with a lot of the complaining I see from KDF
" The range is about 7.5km
There is a 3s tell on both source and target ships
Several abilities including Polarize Hull and Reverse Shield Polarity (and I think one or two others) will protect against this; moving out of range before the tell is complete will also prevent the teleport
You get an immunity to being teleported again after being teleported"
