It seems as though a silly mistake may keep me from completing an aid mission. While exploring the Khazan Cluster, one of the systems I encountered ws suffering from a type of outbreak. Having only a single Antigen in my inventory, and remembering that replication costs more than purchse at Starbase, I opted to leave the system. So there I am at the Starbase, buying my Antigens, and returning to the Khazan Cluter to deliver their cures... so where are they?! Re-navigation of the cluster reveals nothing but Unexplored Systems and Anomalies. The specific solar system named "System 5408-Epsilon" is nowhere to be found. Am I missing something really simple here? Is there a more efficient or simple method to return to the planet?

Sadly, I have no idea if that's possible. You may have to consult the wiki or give up on the idea entirely - or request GM assistance.

Check to see if itl;s available at J -> In Progress tab.

You should be able to buy all of the commodities at I -> replicator. No need to go anywhere else although it'll cost you slightly more than from a vendor normally.

Hope this helps

Had you talked to the planet? Then the mission should be in your tab. Otherwise, it's gone.

Randomly generated planets in the randomly generated nebula sectors aren't intended to be found again. It's the nature of those areas that if you leave the system for whatever reason, you might as well delete the mission and move onto the next one. There will be plenty of other relief effort missions along the way.

You know how to turn off Astrometrics right? Check to see if you've got additional buttons underneath it. One of them will be the mission you're looking for. It's the only way to get back to that randomly generated system.

Problem solved; don't I feel even sillier now...

Thanks for all the tips everyone. Some of it I knew already, some not, but it was all in the same ballpark despite not solving my mystery. Hopefully I can help to solve some noob's silly question down the road.
