Been looking around but haven't seen any useful info. The new T5 Akira carrier, what are some suggested power levels and why? Do the fighters/bays do better with power in a certain area? If they do, why does the power do for them?

It's an Escort, Power to Weapons.

Hanger Bays cooldown faster with more Aux power.

Correct, don't pump aux just for fighter CDs, you will be a failscort if you do. Weapons at 125/95 shields get the rest, aux and engines at minimums (which are actually fairly high because you have lots power boosting equipment and skills right?)

i run at 118/80 Weapons the rest into shields, it works pretty well, not quiet the oomph as 125 power, but the difference isn't noticeable enough to make a major difference.

Default escort settings for me is 100/25/50/25, this keeps my speed up for more bonus defense and with 3 engineer slots available I would make up for shield power by cycling 2 EPtS powers which would bring in added dmg resists too. For the fighters to spawn faster try a flight deck doff so you dont have to worry to much about aux power setting.
