I am trying to find out that when you have a Intrepid Class star ship, there is a purplish energy shock wave that occurs. Now I saw this graphical wonder the very first time I received that ship, but haven't seen it since.

Could anyone tell me what weaponry or console or whatever can cause that? I know it's REAL stupid, but I really miss whatever weaponry or whatever causes that kind of damage.

It could also be one of the Sci Powers, Grav Well is purple, not sure what colour Charged Particle Burst is or Photonic Shockwave, but they both work as a PBAOE

It was purplish but it did look like that and it always happened to an enemy ship. I first noticed it with the Intrepid class and I truly can't remember if it was a weapon or a console that caused it.

i wanna think its LT or LTCMDR sci slot, but its been a while since i played a sci char.

I believe it's a commander level bridge officer power. I can use it in my Polaris class, but it wasn't available on my Odyssey.

Check your tray set up if you can't use it anymore. Sometimes the stuff gets rearranged and you have to manually reset it.

It's also possible that you retrained the bridge officer who could do it in something else.

I just tried that photonic shockwave and it's great, and I've had it before but that isn't it. This happens to any enemy ship you are targeting.
