STARFLEET OPERATIONS COMMAND

Starfleet Operations Command has been here since day 1. Though it was named "501st Legion" when it was first created, it has had some good journeys and like other fleets, some quite interesting journeys. Originally made as a personal fleet/friend fleet it has changed over the course of its time into a full fledge fleet, looking for people who enjoy Startrek Online. And intend to stick with it for the long haul. Starfleet Operations Command or SOC is more of a "small town" sorta fleet. Goal of the fleet isnt to recruit crazy numbers but to have a good solid group of people who enjoy the game and just want to have fun.

I as a Leader have always kept the mentality that its not the numbers you have its the quality of members you have within the fleet. I also have the mentality of "if you build it they will come". We are working on our starbase and enjoying every minute of it.

We accept new people to the game and also vets. Willing to train you in how to roll and understand the Elite Special Task Force missions or "STF's". Or even helping you level your toon. We are not a pvp driven fleet, but if you enjoy that aspect of the game, we will be there to enjoy it with you.

We have our own chat channel that allows us to chat while we are on our Federations toons or our Klingon Toons, we also have our own Ventrilo server that can house up to 10 people atm.

I myself keep a very active roll in the PublicEliteSTF channel and also the EliteSTF channel, so if you do use those channels thats where you will find me because I roll stfs on a constant basis.

So if you have found yourself alone or your current fleet isnt making you enjoy the game no longer, give us a shot, we may be small but youll defenetly enjoy the company and the fun we can offer.

Klingon Elite Honor Guard

This is the sister Fleet of Starfleet Operations Command for our Klingon contigent. So if you are also looking for a fleet that offers both Federation and Klingon enjoyment, we can offer that as well. Qapla!

Reward System

Myself and the Command staff came up with a great idea to reward our members who help the fleet, stay active and just continue to be great members by introducing our fleet reward system. How it works is pretty simple. And Ill note that its not strickly just starbase donations but activity, communication with members "being chaty", and just being an all around good "friend", yes I use the term friend because in the end, in this fleet we are one big family. So here is how it all works

The more you donate and obtain higher points on the leaderboard the better items you will recieve. And to give an example of some of the stuff you can get, purple mark xii items, mirror universe ships, and even lock box ships. This is our way to thank you for all your hard work to the fleet.

Hello captains. As a ranking member of Starfleet Operations Command I feel it is my personal obligation to share my expierences with the fleet. First i would like to note that i have only been playing STO for about four months and went solo until about a month ago, when i was inducted as a member of SOC. The fleet excepted me with welcoming arms and i have never looked back. One thing you will see when you join is that there usualy is always another member on who is willing to answer any and all questions and partake in any events listed or things that you might wanna do. We also understand that we all have real lives and dont hold that aginst you if you arnt playiing all the time. Overall the company we keep and the way the fleet runs is very exceptional and im shure you will enjoy it very much. So if you find youeself wanting to join do not hesitate to post you information on this forum. Hope to see you soon!

Hey Tech

reading the forums while eating this delicious choc muffin mmm, nom nom nom, but yes like tech said we are a very family orientated group, we are very close but we welcome everyone into the family. So if your out there looking for a home, no matter what age, young or old, because some of us are abit old hehhe, we are a pretty down to earth group of people.

Now back to some sto fun

I played STO for a bit a while ago as a solo player. I eventually decided to join a fleet and see what it was like. I joined a big fleet with hundreds of players, none of whom knew each other. Fleet activities were akin to any Pick Up Group I could have gotten into without the fleet. So I decided to quit STO, it just got boring.

A few months ago I got bored with yet another game and decided to check out STO again. There was a new Rep system...new toys and...not enough else to keep me interested for more than another couple of weeks.

But then I met a gregarious member of SOC. He engaged me in conversation and after a few days of running into each other he invited me to the fleet. I was hesitant at first. I knew that my interest in the game was likely to wane shortly, and I didn't want to disappoint anybody.

But this fleet was nothing like the one I had been in before. The members are all very friendly, helpful, and funny. I was welcomed immediately. Everyone knew who the other members were. Events became more fun and ran more smoothly. I very quickly began to feel a part of this family and before I knew it, months had flown by.

The game I thought would get boring again in a few weeks is now monopolizing my free time. I can't wait to get on and play. It is all because of this fleet and the wonderful people in it. So to those members who read this thank you.

And to those looking for a place in game to call home, a group to enhance the game, and a fleet you can be proud of; you'll never find a better choice than SOC.
