This has already caused a few misunderstandings with a couple players already now and makes no sense because I have never used ignore before, nor do any of my privacy settings prohibit anyone from sending me tells or anything of the nature. Yet I've been accused of just using ignore when people try to send tells! I can only conclude this is a bug since nothing is set that would cause this issue.

There is an option that essentially autoignores people. maybe you turned that on by mistake?

I've had this problem before with fleetmates. I can see them speak, so they're obviously not on ignore, but they can't tell me nor invite to team because I have them on 'ignore'.

I think there is a glitch somewhere in the privacy because it happened for me when I changed my settings after the bout of friend requesting and tell spam a while ago. I (thought) I changed everything back to normal, but .

Regardless, you can work around it by adding these people to your friends list.
