Just like the Maximum PC article you posted the link to about six hours earlier, this interview also has absolutely no new information.

So Rekhan, how about some of that Klingon information that you guys keep saying is coming out "very soon"? How about some of that?

Yikes!!!

But yes, will the Klingon hopefuls have much to be thankful for this coming turkey day?

Edit: Just read the interview. Fluff. I share PF's frustration.

More talking and no walking.

The same information more or less, again and again with maybe one or two grains of sand in between.

Shame on you Cryptic, shame on you Rekhan.

err... dont blame Rekhan for this, he is just the man who posts the interviews here on the forums, right ?
I doubt he can do anything about the PR policy of Cryptic/Atari, he can however retell and retell and retell again what the community is longing for.
To say it with the words of an ancient roman politician :

"Ceterum censeo Klingonum esse publicatum..."

PS: at least you can see that there is some PR and "interviewing" going on with more European websites... and that is a big PRO on their PR campaign, as we are seriously left out until now, especially with pre-orders and stuff...

Actually there´s a great wealth of information.

Craig Zinkievich: Star Trek Online will be in one big universe where everyone is on the same shard.
Ah, echoes of EVE online.

Craig Zinkievich: Player death in video games has never really been realistic since the days of the coin-op arcade when a single coin granted you 3 lives. MMOs are no different in that we want you to feel challenged when playing the game, but we don’t want your characters to permanently “die” and put a giant “Game Over” on the screen.
So we´ll get unlimited lives?
Awesome.

buffed: We’ve seen and read a lot about federation gameplay – what’s different for the Klingon side?

Craig Zinkievich: Klingon Gameplay revolves more around PvP – both within themselves, but primarily with Starfleet along the Neutral Zone. There are planets and point of interest to encounter, raids, and some special missions, but for launch, Klingon play is more about social gameplay than story driven content.
In other words, we're now in Beta, less than 3 months from launch and you ain't done jack **** on the Klingon side of Star Fleet Online.

buffed: To what extent did the recent launch of Cryptic’s Champions Online (and the lessons learned from this) change the road to launch Star Trek: Online?

Craig Zinkievich: At Cryptic we also feel very strongly about listening to our community, so the feedback that we have had from players who play Champions Online have also been considered for Star Trek Online.
You must be selectively deaf to your wanna play Klingon community then.

Gee guys....cut em some slack...I'm sure whatever they have planned is going to be great..otherwise they wouldn't have made klingons the foes... I'm sure what they have is great. Just give em time...They arent doing this JUST for the money...they don't want Millions of players and trekkies mad at them for life...they've thought these things through...Just be patient and wait.
