Missing additional character slot for current/ lapsed Gold Members
I'm a level 47 with Gravity Well III, Graviton Generators 9, one blue MK XII Graviton Generator console. I'm finding that when I use Gravity Well on Cure Space it holds one Borg BOP but only marginally slows the other down, despite me Aux score being 122 when I fire it.
Is the norm for Gravity Well III? Would another console help it or should I look to other sci abilities? Would Photonic Shockwave help push the one that escapes in to the well?
Here is a combo you might consider, Gav Well, fly in close, Particle Burst and then Beam Fire At Will or Torp Spread (can't wait for the Fleet Science Vessel, Torp Spread 3). Its similar to the Tractor Beam, Particle Burst and then High Yield Torp, but for multiple targets. Don't forget sensor scan. Don't forget, science is more for support. Popping a Aux Battery and a Grav Well 1 if effective enough on one of my MVAE.
Hi, my name is: Elim Garak, Former Cardassian Oppressor
LTS, here since...when did this game launch again?
Popping a Aux Battery and a Grav Well 1 if effective enough on one of my MVAE.
ofc it is, since poping some tac buffs will increase it's dmg past anything a sci could do with GW3. Same with particle burst.
dn't wory darramouss1 that's just cryptics way of creating game balance, give the class with most weapon dps the tools to also have the best skill dmg.
It really sucks how out of my 6 toons the tacs always fare better because of how strong their abilities are compared to sci and eng. Personally I would have thought tac would have been the weakest class, seeing as Trek tried to promote the use of knowledge, science, engineering and diplomacy over violence...

O HAI! Welcome to one year of sci skill nerfs.
Take a seat. Our emotional trauma specialists will be with you shortly. They have plenty of experience with this kind of case and will take good care of you.
In the meantime, may we suggest a change of careers or ship? There is a used starship dealer down the hall that gives good discounts on escort ships.
Why yes, it IS right next door to our trauma specialists offices. How did you know?
