I was doing KA Ground normal with some friends of mine from Orion Cygnus, and we all noticed that the borg were adapting A LOT faster to our weapons. In my case, I could only fire my MACO Rifle 2 or 3 times before I'd have to remod, when before I could usually get 6-8 shots before remod.

Anyone else noticing any changes?

No changes have been made to the rate.

Your weapons become adapted to after 4 hidden counters stack up. Every shot has has like a 70% chance to add a stack to the counter, if I recall correctly. You could be really unlucky and only get 4 shots on a energy type, or get awesomely lucky and get off 10 shots before adaptation.

The % chance is 75%, but otherwise this is entirely correct. Heck, you could conceivably get incredibly lucky and never have the borg adapt to you. The chances are vanishingly small, but it could happen.

We must have played and STF together and my luck rubbed off on you because I am always adapting after 4 or 5 shots I had to switch from my OMEGA mk xii to my MACO mk xi because of the single shot phaser.
