Maybe cryptic can introduce a new afk logout timer for FA's. Like, 5 minutes long instead of the hour long one. Might fix that problem.

Yeah, it is so obvious it's not even funny.

And from an efficiency point of view it makes even sense to afk in these missions, since with 20 players the anonymity factor is a lot higher and hey, you can actualyl doing something worthwile in the hour that it takes the remaining 3 ships to accomplish something.

That would be Hilarious to see - 17 ships just AFking while 3 just keep getting blown up over and over - trying their hardest for 1st 2nd 3rd place

Not really. That would suck for the three of them. Hence why IMO, the 5 minute afk timer.

You don't get dilithium from FAs without participating.

I got paired with one that was almost done. I got a green item and no dilithium.

Cryptic doesn't care about our feedback anymore. They simply introduce an award system without listening to feedback from the playerbase, regardless of how bad the consequences might be. We, the playerbase, don't even sit in the cheap seats anymore; we're the bubble gum stuck underneath them.

Edit: This is the fruit of their labor. They never fixed the afk problem in STF's, and now that the di rewards have moved to STF's, the afk problem is only going to get worse. One problem begets another, as they say.

it would be hilarious if 20 people popd in and all of em went afk, come back 20 minutes later, hey... how come im still 0/50 bop kills?
