I know (or had the impression) in the past that when you use the same weapon types as your pets, and you slot the corresponding tact buffing consoles, this also buffs your pets damage. Is this still the case?

For example: A Kar'fi carier with the advanced Fer'jai frigates. The carier runs also trico mines and uses the TCD consoles. Will the frigate's mines and torps deal more dmg?

And how will the +crit chance consoles affect crit chance from your pets?

Oh, and does it also still counts for speccing yourself for the pets abilities? Like the drain amount of syphons, drain from tachyon beam, canon rapid fire dmg etc

No, the only way to increase your pet damage is by equipping the appropriate Flight Deck Officers.

i would have to look at the numbers that i see by eye but i would still assume yes tact consoles still buff pet damage.

I thought dmg of the pets wasnt affected by consoles.

They aren't. Flight deck doffs are the only things which can do that, and only in one variant which kicks in only when fighters are in escort mode.
