I'd like to see a "Mark all as read" or a "Delete all mail" button, preferably both, so I can easily clean out my mailbox.

The only way you should expect to see something like this is through a combined fleet base/embassy/reputation project that costs 100,000 dilithium, takes four days to complete, and then still costs 500 dilithium every time you use it.
