The foundry is an excellent asset, with fully unlocked costume options you can do a lot with it.

But even at current, Any character made within the foundry by a player is completely non-existant while using Demorecord.

Anyone know a way around this?

Hi there,

I believe that I have experienced this frustration myself. But fear not there is a solution to work your magic!!

Download this awesome awesome tool set called STO demo Launcher.

What it does is allows you to swop costumes on the actors on your scene.

This is what I do.

1.) Go to SOL, DS9, First City and run demo record for a few seconds. or
2.) Demorecord your Boff on a ground mission somewhere wearing something you want to show in your film. (Tip: you yourself can swap your costume during demo record and it captures all the costume sets)

Why do the above?

It captures hundred of costumes you can select and use (Bad part is that is all stored with descriptions that make limited sense, so you have to try by trial and error. Thats why once you have changed a costume, first preview the video until you are happy.)

The other great thing about the above tool is it allows you to remove notifications, error messages, and unwanted FX from the scene.

I hope that this will provide you will hours of thrills
