Missing additional character slot for current/ lapsed Gold Members
Slow patching in the launcher
A bug that involved Romulan Liberated Borg captains and their skills once they chose an ally
Does anyone have one of these or have any opinions on it? Especially compared to a Fleet Qin or a KDF Vet ship?

I assume you mean the fleet Somraw? I have it. It's a pretty decent ship that is IMO the closest you can get to playing an Fed escort on the KDF. I would rate it above the Fleet Qin, as it swaps out the fairly useless ensign Tac boff station for an ensign Eng station, which adds quite a bit to tankability or maneuverability, depending on what you put in. On the other hand, I would say that the vet ship is somewhat better, but I think the vet ship is more effective if flown as a much tankier BoP. Kind of apples and oranges to be honest.
In essence, the fleet Somraw is very good, if played like an escort with cloak (think Defiant). However, if you're looking for a different experience from Fedside, don't bother.
Main: Ishmael - U.S.S. Ethos-A - Wells Timeship
Pietro - U.S.S. Thermodynamic - Steamrunner
Main: Kahnur - I.K.S. Bonsai - Fleet Som'raw

Yes, its a really good tanky escort with cloak. Best Raptor there is. I like how it gets 3 sci and 3 eng consoles, makes for some nice shields and armor resists, and it maneuvers better then other raptors to.
It looks very good on paper, but I'm hesitating over the 2000 zen since I haven't seen a single one in the 'wild'.

Bug doesn't cloak or have 3 sci consoles, and is way more expensive for just a small increase in firepower, speed and manuverability. Also compare 19-20 mil ec for 4 modules versus around 250 mil ec for bug. Somraw can run glider build better with the extra sci consoles or be tankier.
I don't have it because I am waiting too to see what will bring near future.I was thinking to buy the somraw ,have the zen for it but I still hope I shall get someday a 5 tactical console's raptor with a defiant's turn ratio and 0.9 shield mod (the same data as fleet tactical escort retrofit ).
Now I run a mirror raptor, that it is quite cheap on exchange now ,you could try it see how is to fly with a raptor plus it has an engineer ensign so you can run two copies of epts1 .
Mirror raptor has a turning ratio lower that somraw and has the axis turn problem all raptors have and in dogfight's federation escorts will circle around me 20-30% of time while I cant use batteries or evasive due to cd.
JHAS's and fleet tactical escort retrofits blow me to to pieces due to 5-tactical console and better turning ratio while I try to lock weapons on them )
The new steamrunner also is above mirror raptor as statistical data but I have met only a cople of them so for now I only can say that they make circles around me .
